Skopje, 24 June 2024 (MIA) - Orhan Murtezani has assumed the post Minister of European Affairs after a meeting with outgoing Deputy PM for European Affairs Bojan Marichikj on Monday.

In line with the amendments to the law on reorganization of state administration, the Secretariat for European Affairs has been transformed into a Ministry of European Affairs.

Orhan Murtezani, 40, graduated at the Skopje-based Faculty of Economics and earned his M.A. at the Marmara University in Istanbul. He is a former director general of Railways Transport and Macedonian Electricity Transmission System Operator (MEPSO).
