Skopje, 18 March 2025 (MIA) - Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski confirmed reports Tuesday that an oil storage tank was located near the nightclub in Kochani, but said it was empty and, according to initial information, wasn’t connected to the owners of the “Pulse” nightclub.

“According to my information, it is true that there was a gas station and an underground storage [nearby], which according to initial information was empty and didn’t come in contact with the fire. The ownership structures [of the nightclub and the gas station] aren’t connected,” Toshkovski said.

Earlier on Tuesday, MIA reported information from the Kochani fire brigade that there is an oil storage the near the club where a fire broke out on Sunday, killing 59 and injuring 196 people.
