Official COVID-19 pandemic data: 71 new SARS-CoV-2 cases, 47 in Skopje
Skopje, 31 October 2022 (MIA) — Of the 819 SARS-CoV-2 tests done in North Macedonia’s laboratories over the past 72 hours, 71 came back positive for the airborne virus. Of them, 47 were in Skopje and 10 were confirmed reinfections, health authorities said Monday.
According to the Ministry of Health citing Institute of Public Health figures, 86 people recovered from their acute coronavirus infection.
No deaths were reported in the past three days.
Since the start of the pandemic, the country’s laboratories have performed a total of 2,183,292 coronavirus tests, officially logging 344,146 SARS-CoV-2 cases and declaring 334,335 recoveries from acute COVID-19.
Officially, there are now 247 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 nationwide, of which 168 in Skopje.
Amid the pandemic, 9,564 people have died in North Macedonia from COVID-19 so far. mr/
