Observance of 2022 World Accreditation Day
Skopje, 9 June 2022 (MIA) – Deputy PM for good governance policies Slavica Grkovska addressed event on Thursday marking the World Accreditation Day which was organised by the Institute for Accreditation. She noted that accreditation is one of the mechanisms to provide trust in the work of the institutions but also trust in all segments of economy aimed at protecting the consumers. Therefore, the key principles in the work of every regulatory body, including here the Institute for Accreditation are transparency, accessibility, impartiality and independence, she added. “We implement the process of creating policies for good governance by establishing a partnership with all institutions and therefore the cooperation with the Institute for Accreditation is very important. The citizens expect us to take measures, to improve the processes affecting the quality of their life,” Grkovska said, adding that this process should be continuously improved, and the Institute for Accreditation should use international experiences, cooperate with accreditation bodies of other countries and exchange knowledge, experience and skills.
