Skopje, 16 April 2024 (MIA) - The number of students in primary schools dropped by 1.4 percent at the end of 2022/2023, while the number of students in secondary schools dropped by 3.9 percent compared to the previous school year, according to data published by the State Statistical Office on Tuesday.  

According to the data, there were 182.245 students in primary schools in 2022/2023, and 66.678 in secondary schools.

The data shows that 14 schools were closed in a period of one year.
