Skopje, 18 May 2023 (MIA) – Minister of Justice Krenar Lloga met Thursday with representatives from Norway who presented a model for digitization in the judiciary, as well as the characteristics and performances expected to be had by the system in North Macedonia.
“Full digitization of the judiciary will enable a quick and simple way for the citizens to receive documents, providing the optimal conditions for the work of the judges and the public prosecutors,” said the Ministry of Justice in a press release.
Digitization and interoperability, said the Ministry, will help boost the public’s trust and protect the system; lead to swifter justice, reduction in corruption; will facilitate the submission of evidence and documents; reduce the costs of judicial procedures, and the number of postponed trials.
