Skopje, 25 August 2021 (MIA) — North Macedonia has so far agreed to temporarily take in about 780 Afghan civilians, according to the government spokesman Dushko Arsovski. In response to a reporter's question on Wednesday, Arsovski said most of them would be accommodated on the outskirts of Skopje. "This is the number of civilians the Government has agreed to take in and shelter so it can help them go through this period of 90 days here more easily," he said, adding that hotel costs would be covered by international organizations. mr/
