North Macedonia registers 47 new COVID-19 infections and no deaths
Skopje, 28 July 2021 (MIA) – Data of the Public Health Institute in the past 24 hours show that 47 new COVID-19 cases were registered. There were no deaths and 14 patients were registered as having recovered. After 3,593 tests conducted in the same time period, new cases were registered in Skopje, Tetovo, Kumanovo, Bitola, Prilep, Strumica, Valandovo, Veles, and Gostivar, said the Health Ministry of Wednesday. Since the onset of the epidemic, North Macedonia has registered 156,171 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,321 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 5,491. At the moment, there are 359 active cases nationwide, including 130 in the capital Skopje. A total of 963,049 COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far in the country.
