Skopje, 5 January 2022 (MIA) – North Macedonia confirmed its first case of an individual infected with both the seasonal flu and COVID-19 at the same time, flurona, the Health Ministry said Wednesday. The man, 26, who is infected with both viruses, had returned from the United States in late December. He told authorities he had been double-jabbed there right before returning to the country. “The patient is self-isolating at home and is experiencing mild symptoms,” said the Ministry.
