Skopje, 13 October 2021 (MIA) – “Sisterhood”, a film directed by Macedonian director Dina Duma, is North Macedonia’s national candidate to vie in the best international feature film category for an award of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS). The decision was made by a seven-member jury of Macedonian film professionals. It has been already approved by the AMPAS, the Macedonian Film Professional Association said Wednesday. Arben Thaci’s “The Vanished” was also in consideration for the nomination. The 94th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California on March 27, 2022.
