North Macedonia needs political stability, Grubi tells IRI’s Wethington
Skopje, 3 November 2021 (MIA) – North Macedonia needs stability and predictability and PM Zoran Zaev’s resignation is a hasty move, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Political System Artan Grubi said at a meeting Wednesday with Olin Wethington, International Republican Institute (IRI) board member. Grubi and Wethington during their meeting in Skopje also discussed the political developments in the country with talks focusing on the local elections and their outcome, Grubi’s office said. Grubi told Wethington that the country needs stability in light of the energy crisis, which is expected to hit entire Europe, including North Macedonia. They also discussed the health crisis, resumption of the negotiations with Bulgaria as well as full implementation of the Prespa Agreement. “First Deputy PM Grubi thanked IRI for being a strong supporter of North Macedonia on its path toward development and integration into the EU,” said the press release.
