Skopje, 16 July 2023 (MIA) - The Embassy of North Macedonia in Athens and the Consulate General in Thessaloniki are in continued communication with Greek institutions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday regarding yesterday's murder of a 39-year-old man from North Macedonia.

A 45-year-old man, also from North Macedonia, was injured after unknown masked individuals shot them at the accomodation they rented in the town of Hanioti in Greece's Halkidiki region.

According to information obtained from the Consulate General in Thessaloniki, the injured person is not in critical condition, as per the hospital where he is treated.

The MFA said countries' services are in constant communication and exchange information regarding the investigation in the case.
