Skopje, 19 July 2021 (MIA) – Food and Veterinary Agency director Nikolche Babovski and representatives of Albania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the country’s food safety authority agreed Monday on enhancement of cooperation between the two countries in the field of food safety and health protection and well-being of animals. The meeting focused on enhancement of bilateral trade of live animals and activities undertaken by the countries’ veterinary authorities, the Agency said in a press release. Interlocutors also agreed that cooperation between the country’s institutions in the field of food safety and health protection and well-being of animals should be made official through the sooner signing of a cooperation memorandum.
