No room for cooperation with DUI in Gov’t, says Deputy PM

No room for cooperation with DUI in Gov’t, says Deputy PM

Skopje, 7 May 2025 (MIA) - We are not leaving any room for cooperation with DUI of any entity within the Government and on any basis: formal, informal, just for the local elections. This is the main remark about Health Minister Arben Taravari and his behavior, Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski said on Wednesday evening.

“It is true that meetings were held in recent days with the partners from the Government. I attended some of them. We spoke, we communicated. The Prime Minister has a very clear vision about where he wants the country to move, but what is crucial about his vision is one of the three most important election promises – that we must have a firm fight against organized crime and corruption, which were embodied by DUI the most. We promised that DUI would be in the opposition, that is why we are not leaving any room for cooperation with DUI of any entity within the Government and on any basis: formal, informal, just for the local elections. This is the main remark about Taravari and his behavior. I already said that considering the significant experience he has, I don’t believe Taravari is so naive to commit political suicide and end up in DUI’s embrace,” Nikoloski underlined in an interview for TV Sitel.
