Bitola, 3 December 2024 (MIA) - We are under no pressure from politicians. The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) is an independent institution and we will not allow for any form of pressure, said SCPC president Tatjana Dimitrovska on Tuesday.

Dimitrovska told reporters in Bitola that fight against corruption does not depend on one institution but requires joint action.

"We are investing maximum efforts to proceed on all cases. We are under no pressure from politicians. We are an independent institution and we'll not allow for any form of pressure," said Dimitrovska.

Regarding the case over the appointment of the National Security Agency director, she said the SCPC is receiving documents on a daily basis.

"A case has been opened and we are collecting the entire documentation in order to determine the facts. After the initial report, we are getting additional reports on a daily basis. Upon establishing the facts, the SCPC will take a decision at a public session," said Dimitrovska.
