Nikoloski – Kupka: Creating conditions for greater economic cooperation

Skopje, 11 March 2025 (MIA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski met Tuesday with the Czech Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, confirming the good bilateral relations and discussing the realization of transport policies and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, the Ministry of Transport of North Macedonia said in a press release. 

At the meeting in Prague, Deputy PM Nikoloski noted that as an aspiring member of the European Union, the country is focused on developing all means of transport within the European transport network, thereby contributing to the development of regional cooperation through the modernization of the transport infrastructure. 

Both ministers raised the issue of cooperation in transport and infrastructure, stressing that European experiences and practices are significant for the realization of capital projects. 

Deputy PM Nikoloski underscored the country’s “competitive position in the region, where it offers exceptionally good conditions for investments” and urged Czech companies to explore investment opportunities in the country. 

Nikoloski and Kupka agreed to intensify cooperation, especially in the economy and investments.
