New Çağatay Kablo investment in Skopje Industrial Zone to open 200 jobs

Skopje, 11 July 2025 (MIA) - Turkish manufacturer of cables for the automotive industry Çağatay Kablo marked on Friday the beginning of construction of its new factory in the Skopje Technological Industrial Development Zone, expected to open up to 200 new jobs.

The investment is valued at €6 million, and the facility will cover an area of 10,000 square meters.

Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, who attended the cornerstone laying ceremony for the new factory, stated that this latest investment by Çağatay Kablo confirms that government policies are working, and the country is on the right track.

“This kind of new start is important not only for the business itself, but also for the surrounding community, the national economy, and young people who want to build their future here. We’re adding another cornerstone of economic trust, a strong message that committed institutions bring inevitable success,” Mickoski said.
