Skopje, 8 August 2025 (MIA) — Igor Kuzmanovski has been appointed director of the University Clinic of Neurology and Danica Petkoska Spirova has been appointed director of the University Clinic of Cardiology, Ministry of Health sources confirmed to MIA.

Minister of Health Azir Aliu appointed Kuzmanovski and Petkovska Spirova to their new posts on Aug. 7, the sources said.

No other new hospital director appointments have been announced.

Kuzmanovski, a neurologist who teaches at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, suceeds Fatmir Mexhiti as Neurology Clinic director.

Petkoska Spirova, a subspecialist in cardiology and author of many published research papers, succeeds Bekim Pocesta as Cardiology Clinic director. mr/
