Negotino power plant to undergo regular maintenance operations
Negotino, 8 April 2023 (MIA) - As of Thursday midnight, Negotino thermal power plant has been shut down for regular maintenance operations, general director Nebojsha Stojanovikj told MIA.
Stojanovikj said the maintenance operations will last for 70-75 days, whereas the electricity would be compensated by other Power Plants of North Macedonia (ESM) capacities (Bitola, Oslomej and renewables).
The Negotino plant has been working round the clock, at full capacity, over the past four months.
"Furthermore, the plant has not undergone maintenance since the start of the energy crisis in 2021," said Stojanovikj.
