Skopje, 17 June 2025 (MIA) -- National Bank Governor Trajko Slaveski met Tuesday with World Bank Country Manager for Kosovo and for North Macedonia Massimiliano Paolucci, the National Bank said in a press release.

According to the release, the working meeting reaffirmed the credibility of the central bank as a pillar of the country's macroeconomic and financial stability.

Meeting participants also reaffirmed the successful cooperation between the two institutions and expressed their readiness to deepen the partnership, especially regarding structural reforms, digitization and strengthening the resilience of the economy.

According to the release, Slaveski said the central bank would remain open to cooperation regarding technical assistance and analysis, and especially on capacity-building projects as well as projects supporting financial inclusion and sustainable development policies.

Paolucci highlighted the importance of the role of the National Bank in maintaining the stability of the economy and expressed readiness to further support the economic development of the country. mr/
