Gostivar 3 October 2025 (MIA) - The National Alliance for Integration (NAI) coalition promoted its Gostivar mayor candidate Valbon Limani and the candidates for council members on Friday.

Limani presented the programme for the coming four years, including dozens of projects to be implemented in the municipality.

"We will not promise to make Gostivar a city like Paris as soon as we take the reins, but what you hear now will be done," said Limani.

NAI list principal Valdet Xhaferi asked for the citizens' support, because "the vote for this list will be one for change, so that Gostivar is stronger, more developed and more beautiful for the coming generations".

"We will make sure that every decision benefits the citizens, including new roads and infrastructure, investments in schools and kindergartens, clean neighborhoods and support for sport clubs and cultural events. We will strengthen cooperation with the NGO sector, because their energy and ideas are necessary for our common development," said Xhaferi.

Former parliament speaker Talat Xhaferi and former health minister Arben Taravari also addressed the event, saying they are there for the same goal, refuting speculation over the differences among parties in the coalition.
