Skopje, 6 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is paying Friday a working visit to Budapest, at the invitation of Hungary's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó. 

Talks are expected to focus on the three-decade friendship and the progress of the overall bilateral relations, the excellent trade cooperation, perspectives and challenges of the country's European integration process in that context, Hungary's unequivocal and continued support in the EU enlargement process, especially during its EU Presidency, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release. 

The two ministers are to hold a press conference after the meeting. 

As part of the visit, Minister Mucunski is to hold a separate meeting with István Jakab, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary and Chairman of Hungary-South-East-European Friendship Group. In addition, Minister Mucunski is to hold a lecture at the Hungarian Academy of Diplomacy.
