Skopje, 28 June 2024 (MIA) - Country's EU membership is of crucial importance for the stability and prosperity in the region and Europe as a whole, with the expectation that the country will continue to be committed to implementing the reforms outlined in this context, agreed Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski and Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri on Friday.

Interlocutors highlighted the traditional close friendship and partnership that has been successfully developing over the past three decades, and expressed further commitment to intensifying bilateral cooperation and mutual political dialogue, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Minister Mucunski expressed his gratitude for Italy's strong support for the fast completion of the country's European integration and support for the reform processes. ssh/ik/
