Skopje, 26 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, on the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release Thursday.

“The Macedonian support for Ukraine was reaffirmed at the meeting, with the Minister noting that Macedonia will continue to support Ukraine in its efforts to preserve its territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the Ministry said.

At the meeting, Mucunski reaffirmed the country’s unequivocal support for Ukraine’s Peace Formula and other initiatives and formats offering practical assistance for Ukraine.

Mucunski and Sybiha also spoke about the bilateral relations, which were assessed as excellent and positive. The two voiced satisfaction with the excellent cooperation on a multilateral level as well, the Ministry said.
