Skopje, 22 July 2025 (MIA) - The strategic partnership agreement with the United Kingdom opens new opportunities for real projects that directly affect people's everyday lives: fast rail, new hospitals, better roads and tech infrastructure, says Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timcho Mucunski, in a video address on Tuesday.

"Words are not enough. Results are the ones that count: work, development, better life," says FM Mucunski.

He adds the Government does not promise but deliver, noting that the ultimate goal is for the youth to stay in the country, open new possibilities for investors, and citizens to get a better life.

"This is not politics - this is work for the future," says Mucunski.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade recalls that Minister Mucunski and UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Lammy, signed the Strategic Partnership Declaration in London last week.

The document aims to strengthen and enhance strategic ties between our two countries, including cooperation in foreign policy, security, and defence, particularly within the NATO framework, reads the press release.
