Skopje, 12 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski met Monday with Ukrainian Ambassador Larysa Dir, reaffirming support to Ukraine, which will continue in the future. 

Mucunski added that as a NATO member state, the country remains committed to further strong political and practical assistance to Ukraine as it continues to defend its independence and territorial sovereignty, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release. 

"During the meeting, he informed Ambassador Dir about the Macedonian Government's decision to extend temporary protection for Ukrainians residing on the territory of our country," reads the press release. 

Interlocutors also discussed other current bilateral issues, expressing confidence that the good cooperation between the two countries will continue in the coming period, the press release adds.
