Mucunski attends working lunch hosted by Hungary’s Szijjártó
- Ahead of the meeting of the European Political Community held in Budapest, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski attended a working lunch Thursday hosted by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, during which Mucunski exchanged views on current global and European political issues with the top diplomats of other countries.

Skopje, 7 November 2024 (MIA) - Ahead of the meeting of the European Political Community held in Budapest, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski attended a working lunch Thursday hosted by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Péter Szijjártó, during which Mucunski exchanged views on current global and European political issues with the top diplomats of other countries.
“The focus of the discussion was placed on the dynamic of the Euro-Atlantic integration processes and the specific challenges faced by each of the countries. The ministers agreed that integration within the European Union remains a top priority, alongside respect for European values. In his address, Minister Mucunski highlighted the country’s long Euro-integration path in the past two decades and spoke about the credibility of the enlargement process, which should be based on the implementation of the reform agenda,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
As part of the delegation headed by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, FM Mucunski will participate in the Summit of the European Political Community on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Ministry, the focus of the summit will be placed on topics such as energy security, economic certainty and regional connection.
