Mucunski and Frangeš reaffirm Slovenia's strong support on path towards EU

Skopje, 3 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Timcho Mucunski met Wednesday with the Special Envoy for the Western Balkans of the Republic of Slovenia, Anžej Frangeš.

Talks focused on regional dynamics and the situation in the Western Balkans, as well as the need to speed up the European integration processes, which is of interest to the wider region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release. In addition, interlocutors reaffirmed Slovenia's strong support on the path towards the EU, as well as the continuous commitment to regional stability and prosperity.

"Participants in the meeting stressed that Slovenia remains an important partner, both in terms of developing capacities in foreign policy priorities, and in terms of implementing reforms, by sharing experience for the improvement of the country's administrative and legislative capacities," reads the press release. 

Interlocutors reaffirmed excellent bilateral relations and successful cooperation between the two friendly countries, particularly highlighting trade and overall economic relations.
