Mucunski and Fidan reaffirm readiness to promote bilateral cooperation

Skopje, 28 February 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye as part of a delegation led by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
Talks reaffirmed the excellent and traditionally friendly cooperation between the two countries, both on bilateral and on multilateral level. The two ministers discussed promoting relations in areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation and opportunities to deepen it, both in the foreign trade and investment segments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release.
"Talks also focused on the joint political declaration on the establishment of a High-Level Cooperation Council between the governments of the two countries, which was signed on Friday. The Council aims to promote and intensify cooperation in all areas of mutual interest – at the bilateral, regional and global levels," reads the press release.
Mucunski and Fidan, it adds, reaffirmed readiness to continue bilateral cooperation in all key areas, highlighting the importance of joint efforts in promoting regional stability, economic development and political cooperation between the two countries.
