Skopje, 26 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski held a meeting Friday with the Ambassador of Kosovo Florian Qehaja, during which they affirmed the friendly relations between the two countries and reaffirmed the joint commitments for enhancement of bilateral cooperation, above all on an economic level. 

At the meeting, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed the current situation in both countries and the region. At the same time, they highlighted the need to accelerate the Euro-integration processes of the Western Balkan countries, as a key factor to maintaining regional stability.

Mucunski voiced readiness to enhance cooperation within the regional initiatives, as well as support for the European and Euro-Atlantic integrations of Kosovo, stressing the country’s readiness to exchange experiences in the area.

Additionally, Mucunski and Qehaja exchanged views on current foreign policy and security topics at the meeting.
