Monday declared day of mourning for Turkey and Syria earthquake victims
Skopje, 12 February 2023 (MIA) - The Government has decided to declare Monday a day of mourning in North Macedonia as an expression of solidarity and respect for the lives lost in the February 6 devastating earthquake that hit the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic.
Flags will fly at half-mast in the country and at diplomatic-consular offices abroad, the Government said in a press release.
A minute of silence was observed at the start of the Government session.
