Skopje, 9 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Interior Panche Toshkovski on Friday held a working meeting with U.S. Deputy Chief of Mission Nicole Varnes. Talks reaffirmed the excellent cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries, the Ministry of Interior said in a press release. 

"Talks focused on ongoing projects implemented at the Ministry of Interior with the support of the U.S. Embassy, continuity in joint cooperation in the fight against terrorism, computer crime and other forms of organized crime, aimed at strengthening the country's security," reads the press release. 

The interlocutors, it adds, highlighted the importance of the overall support that the United States provides to the Ministry of Interior and the country in all domains, and particularly in the European integration process. In addition, participants in the meeting expressed readiness to deepen it, especially in the area of security and cooperation against crime.
