MoI: Checks in three secondary schools show bomb threats are false
Skopje, 27 October 2022 (MIA) – The Ministry of Interior said on Thursday that checks have been completed in three secondary schools and it has been determined that the bomb threats were false, while police checks in other schools are ongoing.
Nine Skopje high schools received bomb threats on Thursday for the second day in a row. The Ministry of Interior told MIA that around 2pm, the Skopje Police received a report that nine schools have received bomb threats by mail.
The Ministry of Interior said that after receiving the report, police officers have begun to safely evacuate the schools.
Anti-terror checks are currently underway and measures are being taken to clear up the case.
Bomb threats were sent to eight Skopje high schools on Wednesday, and were determined to be false following police checks.
