Skopje, 19 October 2025 (MIA) – During the election silence, prior to opening of polling stations, a total of 20 reports of violations were registered. Six of these occurred in the jurisdiction of the Skopje police department, four in the Kumanovo area, three in Veles, two each in Ohrid, Shtip and Bitola and one in Strumica.

After taking necessary measures, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) confirmed that 15 of the reported incidents were unverified.

In addition, 47 social media posts were registered during the election silence, including calls to vote for specific candidates, as well as videos and photos of party activities at campaign headquarters.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) reports that voting by sick and infirm, persons in retirement homes and inmates proceeded without disruption in all areas, with only one incident registered.
