MoH: 48% of adult population fully vaccinated, over 58,000 get booster shot
Skopje, 17 November 2021 (MIA) - As of today, 817,079 citizens of North Macedonia have received at least one covid vaccine dose; 786,941 citizens have received two; and 58,132 citizens have received a booster shot, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, 4,207 people were vaccinated against covid nationwide. Of them, 1,515 received their first vaccine dose, 930 received their second, and 1,732 received their third.
According to the Ministry of Health’s latest released figures, 48 percent of the population over 18 has received two vaccine doses.
Of them, 57 percent of citizens over 40 have received two vaccine doses, and so far, 33 percent of people aged 18 to 39 have received at least one dose.
The total number of administered vaccines is 1,662,152, with 39 percent of the country’s entire population having received at least one vaccine dose, and 38 percent two.
