MoH: 47% of adult population fully jabbed, over 54,000 receive booster dose
Skopje, 15 November 2021 (MIA) – On Friday and Saturday, a total of 4,684 vaccine doses were administered in North Macedonia. Of these, 1,133 people received the first vaccine dose, 916 the second and 2,635 citizens got the third (booster) shot, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Monday.
As of Saturday (Nov. 13), a total of 813,782 citizens have been vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide, 784,833 have been fully vaccinated, and 54,170 people have received their booster dose.
56% of people over 40 have been fully vaccinated, while 33% of those aged 18-39 have received at least one vaccine dose, read the release.
Moreover, 578% of the adult population has received one vaccine dose, and 47% of citizens over 18 have received two vaccine doses.
According to the number of administered vaccines, 39% of the country’s entire population received at least one vaccine dose, and 38% received two vaccine doses.
