Skopje, 15 May 2025 (MIA) - Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi met Thursday with Swiss Ambassador Véronique Hulmann, with both agreeing that bilateral cooperation has been advancing through close ties and mutual support in multilateral terms.

Speaker Gashi referred to the continued cooperation and support of the Swiss Embassy to the Parliament through numerous projects implemented within the Parliamentary Support Programme, the Parliament said in a press release.

Ambassador Hulmann said a lot has been achieved throughout the years, while reiterating the continued support of the Swiss Confederation for the Republic of North Macedonia in the multilateral context.

Interlocutors agreed that excellent ties represent a solid foundation for further enhancement of bilateral cooperation on all levels, with a focus on parliamentary diplomacy, reads the press release.
