MoH: 46% of adult population fully vaccinated, over 48,000 receive booster shot
Skopje, 11 November 2021 (MIA) – On Monday and Tuesday, a total of 8,518 vaccine doses were administered in North Macedonia. Of these, 1,883 people received the first vaccine dose, 1,938 the second and 4,700 citizens got the third (booster) shot. As of Tuesday, a total of 811,226 citizens have been vaccinated against COVID-19 nationwide, 782,460 have been fully vaccinated, and 48,087 people have received their booster dose, the Ministry of Health said on Thursday. 54% of people over 40 have been fully vaccinated, while 33% of those aged 18-39 have received at least one vaccine dose. The Ministry’s latest figures show that 57% of the adult population has received one vaccine dose, and 46% of citizens over 18 have received two vaccine doses. According to the number of administered vaccines, 39% of the country’s entire population received at least one vaccine dose, and 37% received two vaccine doses.
