MoFA: New entry Covid-protocols for United Kingdom and France
Skopje, 14 February 2022 (MIA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Monday that fully vaccinated persons will no longer need a COVID-19 test before or after arrival to the United Kingdom, only fill out the passenger location form. The UK recognizes the North Macedonia certificate for the following vaccines: Moderna; Janssen (single dose vaccine); Novavax (Nuvaxovid and Covovax); Oxford/AstraZeneca; Pfizer BioNTech; Sinopharm Beijing; and Sinovac-CoronaVac. The EU Digital COVID Certificate will be valid as of February 28. In addition, unvaccinated persons are considered those having none or only one administered vaccine (except for Janssen) or persons with two vaccines, which certificate is not recognized by the country, for example Sputnik. North Macedonia nationals require a valid British visa or residence permit when entering the UK. In France, Macedonian nationals can enter if vaccinated with Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Vaxzevria/Covishield and Johnson & Johnson. The criteria include: seven days form the second dose of Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca/Vaxzevria/Covishield, 28 days from Johnson & Johnson, seven days from third Pfizer vaccine for persons who were previously vaccinated with a jab not recognized by the European Medicines Agency, and vaccination certificate, says MoFA.
