Skopje, 10 October 2025 (MIA) – The Youth Cultural Center (MKC) is hosting on Friday the "Imagine Macedonia 2025" music competition for young musicians with original music from all genres, organized by Jeunesses Musicales Macedonia (JMM). The event is a warm-up for the Zdravo Mladi festival, in cooperation with MKC. 

"After three successful online editions, where Macedonian winners were chosen digitally selected and represented the country at the international final in Brussels, this year the competition will be held live for the first time, in front of an audience. The “Imagine Macedonia 2025” final features eight bands that qualified through national selection, including LSD During War, Golemata Voda, Mirage, VENDM, Sunneater, Tsar Von Time, Korka and The Pot. All contestants will perform original music," JMM said in a press release. 

The winner of the national final will represent the country at the international final in Brussels, which is typically held in December and brings together the best young musicians from all participating countries.

According to JMM, the "Imagine Macedonia" project continues to promote the young generation of musicians, authors and bands, creating opportunities for their international promotion, exchange and networking.

The project's partners include MKC, "Gola Planina" and "Mrtov Konj". Iva Damjanovski is the project coordinator.
