Skopje, 19 June 2023 (MIA) - Skopje's Youth Cultural Center (MKC) is hosting on Monday the launch of photographer Neil Folberg's autographed monograph 'A Mirror in Macedonia', together with Ilina Jakimovska, professor of ethnology and cultural anthropology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, and moderator Bisera Bendevska, editor at the Ars Lamina publishing house. 

The book, published by Ars Libris within Ars Lamina publications, is part retrospective with autobiography and part portfolio of photography in the country in the 1970s. At Monday's event in MKC's gallery, Folberg will be presenting photography he took more than 50 years ago in Skopje. 

Neil Folberg was born in San Francisco in 1950. He now lives in Israel, where he runs Vision Gallery in Jerusalem. Folberg’s many books include 'And I Shall Dwell Among Them' and 'Celestial Nights'. His photographs have been shown worldwide in museums and galleries and his prints are in major museum collections.
