Minor earthquake jolts country's southeast

Skopje, 7 June 2025 (MIA) - A series of earthquakes with epicenter in Greece jolted North Macedonia on Saturday, with the strongest measuring at III degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale recorded at 2.46 pm.
According to preliminary data, the epicenter of the 5.2-magnitude earthquake was 290km southeast of Skopje, said the Seismological Observatory within the Skopje-based Faculty of Natural Sciences.
