Skopje, 15 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met Monday with Italian Ambassador Andrea Silvestri, discussing the importance of Italy's support and strengthening the partnership between both countries.

In addition to bilateral relations, interlocutors discussed the European Commission's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, which goal is accelerating the region's socio-economic convergence in EU, the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release.

Ambassador Silvestri said that Italy will continue to support North Macedonia on its path to EU, and expressed preparedness for continued strengthening of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
