Minister Nikoloski visits Kosovo, Skopje-Pristina railway and Tetovo-Prizren road section in focus

Skopje, 29 January 2025 (MIA) - Deputy PM and Minister of Transport Aleksandar Nikoloski, Deputy Minister Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri and State Roads director Koce Trajanovski are paying Wednesday an official visit to Kosovo, discussing the Skopje-Pristina railway link and building a joint checkpoint that would facilitate border proceedings.
The meeting with Kosovo Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Liburn Aliu also tackled the construction of the Tetovo-Prizren road section, including a joint tunnel as the border point between the two countries, the Ministry of Transport said in a press release.
The countries' delegations visited several infrastructure projects of regional significance across Kosovo.
Both sides agreed that the countries have good economic and political cooperation, and highlighted the need for intensification of this cooperation in the spirit of goodneighborly relations, reads the press release.
