Minister Murtezani meets Austrian Ambassador Pammer 

Skopje, 25 July 2024 (MIA) - Minister of European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met Thursday with Austrian Ambassador Martin Pammer, discussing bilateral relations and economic cooperation, the Government’s reform agenda, implementation of the European Commission's Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, as well as current developments in the country and region, in the context of European integrations.

Minister Murtezani highlighted the importance of Austria's role in the region, given its ongoing and vocal support for the enlargement policy, which is reflected in the numerous bilateral and multilateral initiatives in which it participates or heads, such as the “Friends of Western Balkans” group, the trilateral imitative – Slavkov Format, and Central European Group C-5, the Ministry of European Affairs said in a press release. 

"Interlocutors reaffirmed the friendship and high level of economic and political cooperation between the two countries and considered possibilities for strengthening bilateral cooperation’s through EU's Twinning and Technical Assistance and Information Exchange instrument of the European Commission (TAIEX) mechanisms, as tools to achieve the country's main strategic priorities, the press release said.ssh/ad/
