Skopje, 26 August 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski received Monday the credentials of the new Ambassador of the French Republic in Skopje, Christophe Le Rigoleur.

“Wishing Ambassador Le Rigoleur a warm welcome and a successful diplomatic mission, Minister Mucunski voiced satisfaction with the political dialogue so far and voiced his belief that in the coming period the two countries will work with commitment on further enhancement of sectoral cooperation and intensification of mutual support in various multilateral formats,” the press release said.

Mucunski voiced gratitude for the active engagement and assistance provided by the French Republic in the country’s Euro-integration processes and voiced interest in the enhancement of bilateral cooperation on an economic level in the period to come.

Ambassador Le Rigoleur, according to the Ministry, noted that the French Republic highly values the country’s contribution to the stability and prosperity of the entire region and remains committed to further development of bilateral relations, founded on traditional friendship, mutual trust and the realized achievements in numerous areas.
