Skopje, 22 September 2024 (MIA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timcho Mucunski is in the United States as part of the Macedonian delegation to the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79), led by President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova. 

Mucunski will hold important meetings with the A5 countries, SEECP member countries, the OSCE Troika, and hold bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers of several countries. In addition, Mucunski will hold business meetings related to foreign trade and foreign investments, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade said in a press release. 

Minister Mucunski is to address the Interactive Dialogue 2: Enhancing multilateralism for international peace and security event on recommittingto global unity based on the UN Charter.  

Also, Mucunski will participate in the second meeting of the G20 foreign ministers, as well as in the high-level open debate of the UN Security Council on Leadership for Peace. 

As part of the agenda, Mucunski will also participate in a ministerial meeting of the Friends of the Western Balkans Group, and attend a breakfast with Central European Initiative (CEI) ministers.
