Skopje, 19 June 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Social Policy, Demography and Youth, Fatmir Limani, met Thursday with Italian Ambassador Paolo Palminteri, and presented the ministry's activities that are focused on strengthening social services, inclusion of vulnerable groups, youth policies and management of demographic challenges.

Minister Limani and Ambassador Palminteri discussed the enhancement of cooperation through sooner ratification of the bilateral social insurance agreement, benefiting citizens of both countries, ensuring efficient coordination of insurance systems and faster realization of citizens' rights, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth said in a press release.

Interlocutors also discussed cooperation on projects including Italian NGOs that have focused on the improvement of housing and ensuring decent living conditions for the Roma community, as well as its access to social, educational and health institutions.
