Skopje, 27 June 2025 (MIA) - Minister of Economy and Labor Besar Durmishi held a meeting Friday with the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in North Macedonia, Rashid bin Saeed Al-Khayareen, discussing the promotion of economic relations between the two countries.

“A special emphasis was placed on enhancing cooperation in investments, employment and infrastructure projects of mutual interest. The talks underscored the need to boost trade exchange and deepen cooperation in all sectors such as agribusiness, processing industry, logistics, ICT, and tourism,” the Ministry of Economy and Labor said in a press release. 

According to the press release, Durmishi reaffirmed the Ministry’s readiness to be an active partner to Qatari investors and aid in the realization of concrete projects.

“The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to increase economic momentum and strengthen bilateral relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the State of Qatar,” the Ministry said.
