Skopje, 7 January 2024 (MIA) — VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has sent a Christmas greeting on behalf of himself and his political party to all Orthodox Christians, wishing them success, health and happiness.

"The birth of the son of God symbolizes the hope for a better tomorrow, the peace and salvation of the human race that he brought to this world.

"Let the Christmas holiday moments fill the homes of believers with divine holiness and rejoicing in the news of the Savior's birth," he wrote.

"Crime and corruption are the evils of this age, and this calls for unification and a common fight. Evil is defeated by good, and the people of Macedonia always knew how to choose the side of good and be on the side of the winners.

"It was so in the past and it will be so forever. May the Christmas holiday be merry and eternal," Mickoski wrote. mr/
